WEEK 9.1: Exhibition of Design Process

This week we have to exhibit our progress at ICAD to everyone. The place that I researched was Kurau Community Library, a hidden library and student hostel at housing area in Kuala Lumpur. I went to this place to collect the information and what I have seen at the place. Since we were not allowed to take pictures or videos inside the library, so I decided to sketch down what I saw. And also, I noted down all the categories of books that they provided for everyone. I chose this place is because it is a secure and peaceful place where we can read in the soundless atmosphere, and it attracted me by the design of the building. After all, I created the fonts regarding to the books and bean bags in the library. I also tried to sketch on different type of paper as the experiment. It was a unique place for research because it was fun to learn more about it.
