Today we learned how to bind the book ourselves using the stitch binding method. The lecturer showed us the way and explained what we have to do accordingly. We followed the steps and absorbed what she said as we can bind our project next time because this is the most secure binding method. The pages are folded together into sections (signatures). Each section is then sewn into the following section along the spine. The spine is then glued together for extra support and the cover then attached. I was proud that I have done my own stitch binding book by myself. I felt glad to learn something new and odd to me. I hope that I can learn more binding ways in the coming lesson.

This was the example that lecturer showed us.

This was my own stitch binding book that I made by myself.
