ADIDAS LAB- KATE DAWKINS


Adidas lab is the first in a series of innovation events that showcase the brand’s future products and celebrate Adidas’ continued commitment to pushing the boundaries in performance technologies. The first event focused on innovation in football and took place over the UEFA Champions League Final weekend. Kate joined the team at Kin as content designer and director for two of the largest interactive activations at the event.


The first, ‘The Track’ tests footballing by measuring speed, work rate and skill across three running challenges. The second activation, ‘The Smart Ball Wall’, gave participants a chance to test the new Adidas Smart Ball. It’s designed to improve technique, power, spin and accuracy through an automated coaching system.


I’ve studied that beautiful content engages and delights the audience and tells brand stories through spectacular moments. Also, applies logic to the problem, passion to the solution and meticulous attention to detail to each project are important.
